The Centre for Disaster Management Studies(CDMS) in collaboration with Department of Geography, Shaheed Bhagat Singh College and National Institute of Disaster Management, Ministry of Home Affairs , Government of India organised two editions of National Webinar on the theme: "Urban Health Hazard and Preparedness in Global Pandemic COVID-19 on April 29 and May 02, 2020". The distinguished speakers for the session were Professor Sushma Sagar, Department of Trauma Surgery and Critical Care, AIIMS, New Delhi and Dr. E. Aravind Raj, Department of Psychiatric Social Work, NIMANS, Bangalore. The webinars were attended by faculty members and students from different parts of the country. Both sessions received overwhelming response and were well appreciated by the participants.The two editions of the program itself speak about the success of the event.
